Layerise stands out from other startups by steering clear of chaos in its fast-paced and dynamic environment. With a flat hierarchy, the company ensures that everyone is included and well-informed about organizational changes. While startups are often associated with disorder, lacking clear processes and undergoing rapid changes, Layerise thrives on its agility, adaptability, and proactive approach to embracing change, all in the pursuit of staying competitive.

Taking a big leap of faith, I left behind my life in Canada when I first joined Layerise. There was something deep in my gut that urged me not to miss out on the opportunity. So far, my instincts have proven to be correct. Layerise has exceeded my expectations.

How would you describe your evolution as a salesperson?  

As an individual embodying a resolute "just do it" mentality, I have discovered my ideal fit within Layerise. I am inherently proactive and inclined to seize opportunities. During my time here, I have consistently embraced challenges and risen to the occasion, which has led to the company entrusting me with more responsibilities. The recognition I have received is proof that my hard work and dedication are valued.

What motivated you to go into sales?  

It’s a funny story actually. Having both of my parents be sales professionals, and wanting to carve my own path I ventured into marketing. Interestingly enough, my first job required me to handle a mix of marketing and sales responsibilities. It was during this time that I discovered my true passion for sales. I realized that I had a natural talent for selling, and something just clicked inside me. I thrived on the constant need for action and excitement.

How would you describe Layerise’s company culture?

For me, it is relatively simple: open communication and determination, those are the key factors for success. Our constant drive allows us to surpass our goals. Our primary emphasis is not only on “hitting the numbers”; it revolves around collective growth as a team and finding joy in our work. That’s why it is easy for us to maintain a culture of honesty and transparency. I firmly believe that this is the only path to continuous improvement, and we embark on this journey together.

What should people applying for a sales position at Layerise be prepared for?

Get ready to get your hands dirty. Don't be afraid to voice your opinions, share your thoughts and ideas, and offer assistance whenever necessary. It's important to be prepared for daily challenges, so if you're looking for a job where you can just punch in and out, this isn't the right fit for you. We're working on bringing about a significant shift in the market, which means that when we approach potential clients, they often have no idea that a solution to their problems even exists. As a result, our conversations with them can be laborious. However, once we successfully reach an agreement and close a deal, the experience is incredibly rewarding.

Where do you see Layerise in 5 years? 

I believe that we will be the leading customer acquisition platform in the entire world, surpassing all competitors, accelerating in marketing and sales and reaching our targets like never before. Our solution has consistently remained ahead of its time, occupying a unique position in the market. Although a few other companies offering a somewhat similar product have recently begun to emerge, it is evident that it will take them a considerable amount of time to establish themselves properly. We are touching on so many points that really help everyone involved, from customers, companies, and distributors to retailers as it helps educate everyone on different products so they can provide better services as well. I can really see how such a purpose-driven company can have a more far-reaching impact and I genuinely believe that we are changing the world for the better.
